Abstract

Liquid material ejecting unit (40) comprising blade (1) for wiping an ejection face of inkjet head and cleaning liquid supply means (5) for supplying a cleaning liquid to the blade (1). The liquid material ejecting unit (40) is so constructed that wiping by means of the blade (1) is followed by ink flushing from the head and that the amount of ink flushed is set in conformity with the time of contact of the cleaning liquid having stuck to the blade (1) with the ejection face. Accordingly, there can be provided a liquid material ejecting unit that realizes not only performing of cleaning of the ejection face of the liquid material ejecting unit with high reliability but also exhibition of stable ejection performance.
