Abstract
The present invention relates to a formwork carrier platform which enables carrying formworks used in reinforced concrete construction to an upper application environment.
Description
FORMWORK CARRIER PLATFORM SYSTEM
Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a formwork carrier platform which enables carrying formworks used in reinforced concrete construction to an upper application environment.
Background of the Invention
Formwork carrier climbing platform systems known in the art basically comprise carrier anchorages fastened to the holes provided in the concrete, and rings and apparatuses that connect to the said anchorages after disengaging from the formwork concrete. The system is carried from a lower floor to an upper floor via a crane. After connecting ropes to the lifting apparatuses provided on the system, the system is lifted from the anchorage it is located and it is placed on the upper floor. During this operation, the system becomes free as soon as it is disengaged from the anchorage on which it was located. It is carried freely to the upper
• - anchorage and suspended. When the system is moved to the upper floor by means of the crane, uncontrollable environmental factors gain importance. In this type of formwork systems employed especially in high buildings, the wind load can make it difficult to control the system during carrying. For the system to be suspended to the anchorage on the upper floor, assistance of the employees located on the system is required. It is dangerous to have a person on a suspended system during carrying with a. crane.
The USA patent application No. US42882V7, an applicaliυn within the state of the art, discloses a formwork carrier system movable with a work platform.
Summary of the Invention
The objective of the present invention is to realize separation of a form work carrier platform system from the wall concrete to which it is connected to, during carrying the same to an upper floor, without having any employee on the system and such that it will not be affected by the external factors such as wind.
Detailed Description of the Invention
The formwork carrier platform system realized to fulfill the objective of the present invention is illustrated in Figure 1.
Figure 1 is the perspective view of the formwork carrier platform system.
The parts shown in the figures are each given reference numerals as follows:
1. Formwork carrier platform system
2. Suspension member
3. Formwork back profiles 4. Prop
5. Prop moving mechanism
6. Suspension heads
7. Upper platform
8. Rail 9. Triangular leg
10. Leg wheels
11. Lower platform
12. Drop head
The inventive formwork carrier platform system (1) essentially comprises at least one suspension member (2) required for carrying the said system, at least one
form work back profile (3) which carries the concrete form work piece and also supports the concrete, at least one prop (4) which connects the formwork back profiles (3) to the prop moving mechanism (5), at least one suspension head (6) mounted to the anchorages provided on the concrete, at least one upper platform (7) which provides a working area on the formwork carrier platform system (1), at least one rail (8) on which the formwork carrier platform system (1) moves, at least one triangular leg (9) located between the upper platform (7) and the rail (8), at least one leg wheel (10) which enables movement on the rail (8) and also provides support to the concrete, at least one lower platform (11) located at the lowermost part of the formwork carrier platform system (1) and at least one drop head (12) which performs locking and which is supported on the suspension head.
In this invention, suspension head (6), rail (8) and the drop head (12) at the end of the main system work one within the other. Thanks to this mechanism with parts operating one within the other, the formwork carrier -platform system (1) can be carried to an upper floor in a safe and controllable manner without getting disengaged from the rail (8).
Before pouring of the concrete, anchorages which will be provided on the concrete are arranged on the surface of the formwork. The formworks are closed and the concrete is poured. Upon expiration of the setting time, the formworks are opened and it is started to carry the system to the upper floor. New suspension heads (12) are mounted at the upper floor to the anchorages provided at the new concrete. First of all, the rails (8) are pulled to the upper floor by means of the crane. During this pulling operation, the drop head (12) at the end of Lhe formwork carrier platform system (1) is supported on the suspension head (6) located on the lower floor by means of the stoppers and the rail (8) is pulled to the upper floor by sliding through this mechanism. Afterwards, the crane is connected to the suspension member (2) to lift the formwork carrier platform system (l).This time, the drop head (12) within the main system is pulled to the upper floor tlirough the rail (8). When the drop head (12) hits the suspension head (6), it
rotates clockwise at the center of the pin where it is connected to the main system, disengages from the suspension head (6) and rises above the same, it switches to horizontal position due to its non-symmetrical center of gravity, the fitting opening at the end thereof fits into the suspension head (6). As soon as it fits in, the main system abuts on the suspension head (6) and it is thus supported. Thus the rail (8) and the main system are carried to an upper floor without getting disengaged from each other.
These kinds of formwork systems are generally used in high buildings. High buildings are especially exposed to wind loads as external factors. In free formwork systems which are climbed/raised without being connected to a rail, the wind load causes the system to turn and oscillate in the air in an uncontrollable manner.
It is a very difficult and dangerous process to align and mount a formwork system, which is connected to a crane and suspended in the air, to a suspension head located in the upper floor. In order to perform this operation at a construction site, the system is usually tried to be controlled by having an employee located on the formwork. However in the present invention, since the system does not disengage from the rail, there is no need for a human power or assistance on the platform during the operation of pulling upwards and suspending. This makes the system reliable and easy to apply.
