Abstract

In a welding robot, a wire feeder (22) has a wire feeding opening (24) provided below the axis (14a) of an upper arm (14) so as to be directed obliquely upward relative to the axis (14a). A torch cable (30) connected to the wire feeding opening (24) is placed so as to be directed upward in order that the torch cable (30) crosses the axis (14a) in an inner space (SP) of a rotation shaft body (16).
