Abstract

　機体吸込口と機体吹出口とを対向させて設けた箱状の機体と、機体の内部に機体吸込口より吸込まれた空気を遠心送風機吸込口より吸込み、機体吹出口に向けて遠心送風機吐出口より吐出する複数の遠心送風機とを備えた送風装置において、機体を構成する面のうち機体吸込口および機体吹出口を有する面以外の一面に、機体の内部を点検するメンテナンス用開口部を設け、複数の遠心送風機はメンテナンス用開口部に向かって前後になるように配置すると共に、隣接する遠心送風機それぞれの遠心送風機吐出口から機体吹出口までの吐出空間距離の差をメンテナンス用開口部から近い側の遠心送風機の羽根車の外径寸法以上とする。
