Abstract

高強度と高硬度を有し、かつ折損を抑制できる超硬合金、切削工具ならびに切削加工装置を目的とする。Cukα線を用いたX線回折測定における前記Co3W3Cのピーク、前記Co6W6Cのピーク、前記Co2W4Cのピークおよ び前記Co3W9Cのピークのうち最大のピーク強度をI1とし、前記WCの最大のピーク強度をI2としたとき、0<I1/I2≦0.05を満足するとともに、前記WC粒子の平均粒径が0.3μm以下であり、かつ前記コバルトタングステン炭化物粒子の平均粒径が前記WC粒子の平均粒径よりも小さいことを特徴とする。
