Abstract

　撮像装置は、撮影光学系（１２）と、上記撮影光学系（１２）を介して被写体を撮像する撮像素子（２２）と、上記撮像素子（２２）の素子面上の領域に対して、上記撮影光学系（１２）を通過する被写体像光の光束を瞳分割するマイクロレンズアレイ（２０）と、上記撮像素子（２２）の素子面上の上記領域を特定するための座標情報を記録し、上記撮像素子（２２）による撮像によって得られた画像信号に対し、上記座標情報に基づいて、上記領域に対応した上記マイクロレンズアレイ（２０）の光学特性及び上記撮像素子（２２）の素子特性に基づく補正処理を行う信号処理部（５４）と、上記信号処理部（５４）による上記補正処理前の画像信号または上記補正処理後の画像信号に基づいて、焦点検出を行う焦点検出演算部（４６）と、を備える。
