Abstract

　ベーン式バキュームポンプ１は、ポンプ室２に空気を吸い込む吸気通路１１の近傍に設けられ、ベーン６の逆回転時におけるベーンの回転方向前方側の空間Ａと後方側の空間Ｂとを連通させて、該前方側の空間Ａから後方側の空間Ｂに潤滑油を逃がす逃がし溝２１を備えている。上記逃がし溝２１はサイドプレート４に設けられており、かつ上記ベーン６の逆回転時におけるベーンの回転方向後方側となる上記逃がし溝の壁面２１Ａは、該逃がし溝の底面２１Ｂよりも開口側が拡開した傾斜面となっている。逃がし溝の他方の壁面２１Ｃも、底面よりも開口側が拡開した傾斜面とすることが好ましい。 　逃がし溝２１の断面形状を断面方形とした場合に比較して、円滑に異物や摩耗粉２２を逃がし溝２１内から排除することができる。
