Abstract

A paper container with a mouth cap has a paper container body (9) constructed from a closed-bottomed barrel section (7) and a top section (8) for closing the upper part of the barrel section, and the paper container body (9) is made of a paper container material (5) formed by layering thermoplastic resin layers (3, 4) on both front and rear sides of a paperboard base material (2). The mouth cap (14) is provided on a flat section (12) of the top section (8) such that a flange (14a) of the mouth cap (14) is liquid tightly fixed to the surface of the flat section (12). A substantially arc-shaped first auxiliary folding line (16) is provided on the flat section (12) of the top section (8) so as to overlap on a portion of the flange (14a) of the mouth cap (14) and continue to opposite ends of a top lateral scribing line (15) or near the opposite ends, where the top lateral scribing line (15) is the boundary between the flat section (12) of the top section (8) and a flat section (6) of the barrel section (7). The construction allows efficient and easy separation between the paper container body and the mouth cap.
