Abstract
本発明の固体撮像装置は、行列状に2次元配列された複数の画素部(3)と、前記複数の画素部の列毎に設けられ、対応する列中の画素部(3)から出力されるアナログ信号を保持する信号保持部(41)と、複数の画素部(3)の列毎に設けられ、信号保持部(41)に保持されたアナログ信号をデジタル信号に変換するカラムAD回路(25)とを備える。この信号保持部(41)は、対応する列中の画素部(3)から出力されるアナログ信号を伝達する列信号線に接続されたスイッチ素子(263)と、スイッチ素子(263)を介して列信号線に接続されアナログ信号を保持する容量素子(262)とを有する。
