Abstract

 正極活物質は、リチウム含有層状酸化物からなる。リチウム含有層状酸化物は、空間群P63mcに属するLiANaBMnxCoyO2±αおよび空間群Cmcaに属するLiANaBMnxCoyO2±αのいずれか一方または両方を含む。リチウム含有層状酸化物は、上記LiANaBMnxCoyO2±αを固溶体もしくは混合物またはその両方として含む。上記LiANaBMnxCoyO2±αにおいては、0.5≦A≦1.2、0<B≦0.01、0.40≦x≦0.55、0.40≦y≦0.55、0.80≦x+y≦1.10、0≦α≦0.3である。
