L'invention concerne un radiateur équipé d'un tube en verre de silice (4) dont le filament chauffant possède une résistance aux hautes températures et une durée de vie utile maximisées, caractérisé en ce qu'au moins un filament chauffant (3) est composé d'au moins deux fils d'une même forme ou de forme différente enroulés l'un sur l'autre, ledit groupe de fils étant à son tour enroulé sur un ou plusieurs autres groupes de forme différente, de sorte que l'on obtient des formes géométriques différentes.
