Abstract

A beverage container has a first compartment containing a fluid, and an airtight second compartment containing tea polyphenols in a substantially oxygen free environment. A movable barrier separates the first compartment from the second compartment. At least one of the first compartment and the second compartment forming a mixing chamber for the tea polyphenols and the fluid upon the barrier being moved.
