Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a spray device for an iron, at least comprising a fastening unit, a trunk unit and a spray unit, wherein the trunk unit has at least one means by which water from the fastening unit to the spray unit is convertible, wherein the spray unit has at least one opening, can be sprayed by the water.
  • Spray devices are part of the housing, are usually in the front of the tip of the housing, and are connected via a small hose or the like to the water tank. If the user actuates a corresponding actuating means, water is passed from the water tank to the spraying device. From there, the water is sprayed in the form of a fine mist on to be smoothed ironing.
  • the spray devices available in the prior art have a number of disadvantages.
  • the fact that the spraying devices are firmly installed in the housing and integrated into the housing shape often results in part of the water to be sprayed not reaching the material to be ironed but running along the wall of the tip area of the iron.
