Abstract

L'invention concerne, dans certains de ses aspects, un incinérateur et un système d'élimination des cendres. L'incinérateur comprend un système de claies doté d'une paire de panneaux à claire-voie disposés selon une configuration en V. Il est possible de faire pivoter les panneaux indépendamment l'un de l'autre. Le fait de faire pivoter les panneaux pendant l'incinération peut aérer les déchets en cours d'incinération et peut créer un effet de stimulation. Chaque panneau comprend un râtelier-support sur lequel une pluralité de briques est accrochée de façon amovible. Les briques peuvent être configurées avec une pluralité de canaux susceptibles d'amener de l'air préchauffé à la chambre de combustion. Les claies en V peuvent se situer immédiatement au-dessus d'un système d'élimination des cendres comprenant une première et une deuxième vis sans fin. Généralement, la première vis sans fin peut fragmenter les produits de combustion et la deuxième vis sans fin peut transporter lesdits produits hors de la chambre de combustion.
