Abstract
本発明は、希土類系永久磁石に用いられるR-T-B系合金(ただし、RはDyおよび/またはTbを必須とするYを含む希土類元素のうち少なくとも1種以上の元素であり、TはFeを必須とする金属であり、Bはホウ素である)であって、R2T14B相である主相とRリッチ相とを有し、前記R-T-B系合金全体のDyおよび/またはTbの濃度の平均値を平均濃度としたとき、前記R-T-B系合金の任意の断面における前記主相の面積の60%以上の領域が、平均濃度以上の前記Dyおよび/またはTbを含有することを特徴とするR-T-B系合金を提供することを目的とする。また、本発明は、該R-T-B系合金の製造方法、並びに該R-T-B系合金から作製したR-T-B系希土類永久磁石用微粉、R-T-B系希土類永久磁石及びモータを提供することを目的とする。
