Abstract

　着色剤と重合性単量体を含有する重合性単量体組成物を、水系分散媒体中で重合開始剤の存在下に重合する工程を含む重合体粒子からなる重合トナーの製造方法において、ストリッピング処理工程において、蒸発器内に、該重合体粒子を含有する分散液を導入し、該蒸発器内の該分散液中に気体を吹き込み、該気体に随伴させて、未反応の重合性単量体を含む揮発性有機成分を蒸発器外に排出する方法によりストリッピング処理を行い、かつ、該分散液中に吹き込む気体として、不活性ガスと飽和水蒸気の両方を使用する重合トナーの製造方法。
