Abstract

 集積度が高く、十分な量のプローブ分子を保持でき、かつプローブ分子の量のばらつきの少ない、プローブアレイを構成するために適したプローブアレイ用基体を提供する。  配列される複数のプローブ保持部(102)の各々を陥凹した形状によって与え、プローブ保持部(102)内に導入されるべきプローブ溶液の濡れ広がりを防止するため、隣り合うプローブ保持部(102)間に隔離溝(112)を形成する。プローブ保持部(102)の内面を親水性にしながら、隔離溝(112)の内面を疎水性にする。プローブ保持部(102)の内部に、液導入用突起(104)を形成する。
