Abstract

 本発明の目的は、検出用配線群の数が多い場合に於いても、所望の検出時間内に高精度で指示体のタッチ位置座標を算出することが可能なタッチパネルを実現する点にある。回路(20a)等により選択された検出配線(6),(7)の一方を検出制御回路(25)の指令により選択して発振する発振回路(21)の出力信号を回路(23a)は第1計数値まで計数し、計数期間を回路(23b)が測定する。回路(24)は測定期間が所定の閾値以上となる検出配線があることを検出したときにタッチ有りと判断し、閾値以上の最大値を与える検出配線をタッチ検出配線として回路(25)に送信する。回路(25)は、タッチ検出配線と両隣の検出配線を回路(20a)等により選択させて、回路(23a)は第1計数値より大きな第2計数値となるまで計数し、計数期間を回路(23b)が測定する。回路(24)は回路(23b)の測定値よりバックグランド容量値を減算した計数値に基づき補間処理を行い、タッチ座標を決定する。
