Abstract

This invention provides a pressure-sensitive adhesive for an optical member, which has excellent antistatic properties and, further, even under high-temperature and high-humidity conditions, has excellent durability, for example, further can realize excellent adhesion between an optical laminate, especially a polarizing plate, and a glass substrate, is free from foaming or separation between a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer and the glass substrate, and further can suppress the occurrence of a light leakage phenomenon caused by shrinkage of a polarizing film, and an optical member with the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer. The pressure-sensitive adhesive for an optical member is characterized in that the pressure-sensitive adhesive is a crosslinked product produced by crosslinking a resin composition [I] composed mainly of an acrylic resin (A) produced by polymerizing a polymerizable component containing not less than 15% by weight of a hydroxyl-containing monomer.
