Abstract

A desk device having an elaborately designed structure, having sufficient strength achieved by using a minimum number of unitized members, and can be extended to a large variety of layouts. A disk device in which rear portions of support bodies (2, 6) are connected to each other by a connector (5) extending in the left-right direction and a top plate (3) is placed on a support body (6). Engagement grooves (5a, 5b) extending in the left-right direction are arranged in the front face of the connector (5). The engagement grooves are held from above and below by both a support member (12) mounted on each support body (6) and a pressing member (13) placed above or below the support member. The support member (12) and the pressing member (13) are fastened to each other by fastening means (B). Thus, each support body (6) can be joined to a desired portion in the left-right direction of the connector (5).
