Abstract

In order to suppress fluctuations of optical characteristics caused by a reflow process, an imaging device (100) has a lens (16) formed from a thermosetting resin and mounted on an electronic device substrate by using the reflow process. The lens (16) is formed with such a condition that when the refraction index of a plate-shaped molded object having a thickness of 3 mm is measured, the refraction index distribution X of the plate-shaped molded object in the thickness direction satisfies the following conditional expression: X = {∫|nd - n| x ω(n)dn}/{∫ω(n)dn} < 1.3 x 10-3 wherein “nd” is a refraction index of the main peak in d-ray; “n” is an arbitrary refraction index in the range of nd plus and minus 0.01; and “ω” is an intensity at the refraction index n.
