Abstract

It is intended to provide a curable composition which is excellent in smoothness when it is applied to a plastic substrate and dried, is difficult to cause the occurrence of warpage after curing and swarf during cutting, and has excellent abrasion resistance, transparency, adhesiveness, and UV resistance. The curable composition contains an alkoxysilane condensate having a constituent unit represented by the formula (1). [(P-SiO3/2)1-a(P-Si(R0)O2/2)a]x(Q-SiO3/2)y(O1/2R3)z (1) P represents a group represented by the formula (2); Q represents an alkyl group, an aryl group, an aralkyl group, an alkenyl group, or a hydrogen atom; R3 represents a hydrogen atom or a monovalent organic group; R0 represents an alkyl group; the following relationships are satisfied: x+y=1, 0.3≤x≤1, 0≤y≤0.7, 0≤z≤2, and 0≤a≤1; R1 and R2 each independently represent a monovalent organic group, or R1 and R2 may be combined together to form a 5- to 6-membered ring; and R represents a divalent organic group.
