Abstract

Disclosed is a bolt-free helmet. In one embodiment of the present invention, the bolt-free helmet includes a plurality of helmet pre-forms and an elongated band. At least one outer pre-form of the plurality of pre-forms includes a plurality of slots. The elongated band configured to be received in the plurality of slots of the at least one outer pre-form of the plurality of pre-forms to form a framework for securing a chin strap mechanism thereto. Further, the chin strap mechanism is configured to removably secure the bolt-free helmet to a head portion of a user. In another embodiment of the present invention, the bolt-free helmet includes a plurality of helmet pre-forms, a plurality of strips and an elongated band.
