Abstract

 気化燃料の過剰供給あるいは供給不足を避けることができ、高出力で安定した発電を行うことができる燃料電池システムおよびこれを用いた電子機器を提供する。気化室30A内に、気化室30Aに供給された液体燃料に発電部10で発生した熱を伝える伝熱部として、突起41を設ける。突起41の先端と、内側部材31の内壁面との間には隙間Gを設け、この隙間Gにおいて、燃料供給経路24の先端から供給される液体燃料に効率的に熱を伝えて気化させる。突起41を内側部材31の内壁面に、燃料供給経路24の先端部の近傍に接触させることにより、突起41を介して内側部材31に発電部10の熱を伝え、内側部材31を介して液体燃料に熱を伝えて気化させるようにしてもよい。こうすれば、突起41の位置によって加熱したい領域を限定したり、突起41の大きさによって、液体燃料に伝えられる熱の量を制御することも可能である。
