Abstract
本発明では、グラニュール汚泥の崩壊を生じさせる条件において、グラニュール汚泥の崩壊を防止して安定的に高負荷高速の嫌気性処理を可能とする。グラニュール汚泥を保持する反応槽20内に、硝酸または亜硝酸が所定の濃度範囲で存在するように調整する。例えば、反応槽20に被処理液を導入する被処理液路31の途中に、硝酸を注入する硝酸添加路12を接続して被処理液に硝酸を混合する。反応槽20内に硝酸が存在することで、反応槽20内で脱窒細菌等が増殖でき、グラニュール汚泥の崩壊が防止される。
