Abstract

The invention relates to a breaking hammer and a method of changing the position of the breaking hammer relative to a work machine. The breaking hammer (1 ) is fastened to the boom (3) or the like of the work machine by means of a corresponding fastening piece (7). The mutual position of the breaking hammer and the fastening piece is changeable between at least two alternative positions. Fastening surfaces (16, 18) may be curved.
