Abstract

　互いに対向配置される一対の回路基板を機械的に結合し、かつ、電気的に接続するヘッダ（１）とソケット（２）で構成される基板間接続コネクタにおいて、ヘッダコンタクト（３）を、ヘッダボディの表面から突出する円柱状の基部（８）と基部（８）の先端に形成され、基部の直径又は幅よりも大きな最大直径を有する先端部（９）を有する突出片（７）とする。ソケットコンタクト（５）は、細長い板状体であって、基部（８）の高さよりも薄い板厚を有し、かつ、その両端がソケットボディ（６）の架設孔（１６）の両側壁に保持され、ヘッダコンタクト（３）に電気的及び機械的に接続される接続部（１７）を有し、接続部（１７）には、ヘッダコンタクト（３）の先端部（９）が貫通しうる導入孔（２２）と、導入孔（２２）に連通し、ヘッダコンタクト（３）の基部（８）の直径よりも幅の狭いスリット（２１）を形成し、接続部（１７）のうち、スリット（２１）の両側部分をヘッダコンタクト（３）の基部（８）と弾性接触させ、所定の接触圧力を発生させる。
