Abstract

Provided is a casting method of a cast-metal product which can obtain a high-quality cast-metal product by controlling the press speed of an upper cast at a press step when the upper cast is superimposed on a lower cast as a production condition of a cast-metal. The casting method casts the cast-metal product with the use of the lower cast into which a predetermined amount of molten metal required for casting the cast-metal product and the upper cast which is so pressed as to be superimposed on the lower cast to demarcate a cavity for casting the cast-metal product. The casting method controls the press speed by estimating pressure applied to the molten metal at the press step with an estimation means of the molten metal in the casts according to shape data on the upper and lower casts.
