Abstract

　ドライバが操舵時に握るステアリングホイールリム（ハンドル）にかかる力やモーメントを詳細に知ることができる操舵操作力検出装置を提供する。ステアリングホイールリム11の各分割部11A,11Bにかかる力とモーメントが力覚センサ21A,21Bによって検出され、ステアリングホイールリム11の分割部11A,11Bを把持するドライバの手の着力点FP1,FP2が接触センサ22及び演算処理部によって検出される。さらに、これらの検出結果に基づいて、着力点FP1,FP2における力とモーメントが算出され、この算出結果が上位装置に出力される。これにより、操舵操作時にステアリングホイールリム11上の着力点FP1,FP2にどのような力やモーメントがかかっているかを詳細に知ることができる。
