Abstract

ハンマードリルのモード切替を好適な耐久性でコンパクトに構成する。減速軸（３４）内に、クラッチピン（４０）を外部からスライド操作可能に設けて、従動ギヤ（３８）を減速軸（３４）と別体回転可能に外装してクラッチ機構を形成し、そのクラッチ機構の切替により、ハンマードリルモードとハンマーモードとを選択可能とする一方、クラッチピン（４０）を、減速軸（３４）を貫通して上方へ突出可能に設け、その突出するスライド位置では、ツールホルダ（７）側に設けた係合孔（４６）と係合してツールホルダ（７）の回転をロック可能として、ハンマーモードでは、クラッチピン（４０）が係合孔（４６）と係合しないニュートラル状態と、係合孔（４６）と係合する回転ロック状態とをさらに選択可能とした。
