Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif d'aide à la mobilité conçu pour permettre la montée ou la descente d'un escalier par un patient unique assis dans le dispositif. Ce dispositif roule sur l'escalier pour monter ou descendre et il peut être manœuvré et/ou actionné par au moins un assistant montant ou descendant l'escalier à proximité du dispositif. Le dispositif selon l'invention comprend un support pourvu d'un cadre, un système destiné à reposer sur l'escalier et comprenant au moins une roue et/ou des courroies, et un ensemble fauteuil soutenu sur le cadre, comprenant un fauteuil constitué d'un siège et d'un dossier pour le patient, ledit ensemble étant soutenu sur le cadre du support par un palier qui lui permet de pivoter par rapport au support pendant la montée ou la descente de l'escalier.
