Abstract

　サービスを提供するノードを運用状態にしたまま、そのノードのソフトウェアを更新できるようにする。 　処理実行手段（１ａ）に停止命令が入力されると、ハートビート送信手段（１ｂ）により、元の第１のハートビート送信間隔よりも長い第２のハートビート送信間隔をハートビート間隔情報として含むハートビートパケットが監視ノード（２）に対して送信される。その後、処理実行手段（１ａ）の機能を実現するためのソフトウェアが更新され、処理実行手段（１ａ）が再起動されると、ハートビート送信手段（１ｂ）によって、第１のハートビート送信間隔を示すハートビート間隔情報を含むハートビートパケットが、第１のハートビート送信間隔で定期的に監視ノードに対して送信される。ハートビート監視手段（２ｃ）は、ハートビート間隔情報で示された間隔でハートビートを受信している限り、サービス提供ノードを運用中と判断する。
