Abstract

画像表示装置１００は、二次元画像を表示出力する画像表示面１１を備えた表示部１０と、画像表示面１１に離間して配置された画像伝達パネル２０と、を備え、画像表示面１１から出射される光を画像伝達パネル２０の画像表示面１１と対向する側と反対側に位置する空間中の結像面３０に結像して、浮遊画像を表示する浮遊画像表示手段１と、結像面３０の周縁から、結像面３０に直交又は斜交する平面上に画像表示面４１を備えて、画像表示面４１から、画像伝達パネル２０に遠ざかる第１の方向ｄ１及び近づく第２の方向ｄ２にそれぞれ二次元画像を表示出力する表示部４０と、画像伝達パネル２０近傍に配置され、表示部４０から出射された第２の方向ｄ２の光の一部を画像伝達パネル２０から遠ざかる方向ｄ３に反射させるとともに画像表示面１１から出射される光の一部を透過させる反射透過部５０と、を備えた直視画像表示手段２と、を有する。
