Abstract

The present invention provides a device able to induce a pressure and flow rate oscillation in a liquid stream that flows inside a pipe. The said stream is fed through an inlet (2) into a chamber (1) comprising one or more sound emitting devices (4) with a frequency and amplitude set by one or more electrodynamical sound sources (6), imposing an oscillation of one or more diaphragms (5) in order to produce a pulsed flow at one or more chamber outlets (3), allowing the incorporation of measuring instruments (7) to monitor the vibration characteristics of the outlet (3). The pulsed stream can be used as feeding stream in micro reactors, precipitators, static mixers, cutting jets, erosion and polishing jets, combustion or explosion chambers, and units for emulsification.
