Abstract

Disclosed is a method for forming a nanostructure and/or microstructure on a surface. In said method, nanoparticles or microparticles are applied to the surface, a magnetic field is applied to and/or an optical grating is formed on the surface, and the applied nanoparticles or microparticles are aligned along the magnetic lines of force of the applied magnetic field, and/or the nanoparticles or microparticles are trapped on minimum or maximum intensities of the formed optical grating.
