Abstract
Disclosed are: a protein having a dipeptide-synthesizing activity; DNA encoding the protein; recombinant DNA comprising the DNA; a transformant transformed with the recombinant DNA; a method for producing a protein having a dipeptide-synthesizing activity by using the transformant or the like; a method for producing a dipeptide by using a protein having a dipeptide-synthesizing activity; and a method for producing a dipeptide by using a transformant capable of producing a protein having a dipeptide-synthesizing activity, a culture of a microorganism capable of producing a protein having a dipeptide-synthesizing activity or the like as an enzyme source.
