Abstract

Disclosed are an antifouling member and a laminated glass using the antifouling member. Specifically disclosed is an antifouling member comprising a glass substrate, a photocatalytically active layer formed on a surface of the glass substrate, and an overcoat layer arranged on the photocatalytically active layer. This antifouling member is characterized in that the photocatalytically active layer has a geometrical thickness of 5-500 nm. The antifouling member is further characterized in that (A) the overcoat layer contains at least one oxide selected from the group consisting of tantalum oxide, tin oxide, silicon nitride, silicon oxynitride, and oxides containing silicon and tin, while having a geometrical thickness of 0.5-70 nm, or (B) the overcoat layer contains an oxide containing silicon and zirconium, while having a geometrical thickness of 0.5-150 nm. Also specifically disclosed is a laminated glass wherein the antifouling member is bonded with another glass substrate through an intermediate film in such a manner that the side opposite to the front side of the antifouling member faces the another glass substrate.
