Abstract

Artificial hair fibers which comprises fibers (A) having the sheets 5 (the base line 5) to 8 (the base line 8) and fibers (B) having an 8-shaped cross section, wherein the ratio of the major side to the minor side [major side/minor side] of the fibers (A), the ratio of the major side to the minor side [major side/minor side] of the fibers (B), the weight ratio of the fibers (A) to the fibers (B) [(A)/(B)] and the fineness are controlled respectively to specific levels so as to give an artificial hair having a favorable texture, a high curling strength, a smoothness in combing and a good curled style from the viewpoint of controlling the hair tips curled outward.
