Abstract

Provided is a white light emitting device by which white light emission having high color rendering properties and illuminance can be obtained. The white light emitting device is provided by arranging a first light emitting element, which includes an ultraviolet semiconductor light emitting element and a wavelength conversion material, and a second light emitting element which includes a semiconductor red light emitting element.
