Abstract

An endoscopy port cleaning device (1') comprises an elongate shaft (2') formed from a resilient material having first and second ends. An elongate absorbent member (4') is provided coupled to and covering part of the shaft and the first end thereof. A finger grip (3') is located at the second end of the shaft, distal from the absorbent member and having a diameter in excess of the absorbent member. A kit is provided comprising the device and a port seal having an annular inducer. A method is also described including the use of the device and port seal for cleaning an endoscopy port.
