Abstract

L'invention concerne un système de construction modulaire qui utilise des composants de construction polyvalents pouvant être attachés de manière détachable les uns aux autres, dans pratiquement toute direction souhaitée, par l'utilisation d'un ou plusieurs composants d'interconnexion positionnés entre eux. Chaque composant de construction comprend au moins deux surfaces de connexion inventive avec une région de réception à l'intérieur, tandis que chaque composant d'interconnexion comprend au moins une surface de couplage comprenant de multiples éléments de couplage capables d'enclenchement par frottement détachable avec au moins une partie d'une première région de réception. Les régions de réception, les composants d'interconnexion et les éléments de couplage sont dimensionnés et configurés pour (1) permettre un premier type de connexion dans lequel au moins une partie d'un composant d'interconnexion s'ajuste dans et se connecte de manière détachable à des surfaces de connexion chevauchantes de deux composants de construction, et (2) permet également facultativement un second type de connexion, dans lequel les composants de construction sont connectés par un composant d'interconnexion qui s'enclenche de manière détachable avec deux surfaces de connexion proximales ou plus positionnées et alignées dans le même plan. Dans un mode de réalisation inventif, les régions de réception des composants de construction sont dimensionnées et configurées pour permettre le couplage détachable avec des goujons mâles de blocs de jeux de construction populaires classiques.
