【課題】欠陥を容易に視覚的に認識することができるようにすること。 【解決手段】基板４５上に積層した少なくとも一方が透明な複数の電極４６，５２と、複数の電極４６，５２間に積層されており、印加電圧によって複数の電極４６，５２間に生じさせた電界によって発光する有機電界発光層４９と、この複数の電極４６，５２及びこの有機電界発光層４９を被覆するとともに、ある波長域で少なくともその有機電界発光層４９よりも透過率の低い遮光性封止層１３とを有する。
