Abstract
本発明は、単位時間あたりに作製することのできるハニカム焼成体の数を増やすことのできるハニカム構造体の製造方法を提供することを目的とし、本発明のハニカム構造体の製造方法は、セラミック粉末とバインダとを含む原料組成物を押出成形することにより、多数のセルがセル壁を隔てて長手方向に並設された柱状の複数個のハニカム成形体が、連結部を介して一体化した形状である連結ハニカム成形体を作製する押出成形工程と、上記連結ハニカム成形体を焼成して連結ハニカム焼成体を作製する焼成工程と、上記連結ハニカム焼成体の連結部を切断して連結部切断ハニカム焼成体を複数個作製する連結部切断工程と、上記連結部切断ハニカム焼成体を少なくとも一つ用いて複数のハニカム焼成体を接着剤層を介して結束する結束工程とを行うことを特徴とする。
