Abstract

Various embodiments for addressing lists of home agents are disclosed, together with associated methods, computer programs, apparatuses, and the like. For example, an apparatus can include a communicator configured to communicate with home agents in a communication network regarding home agent ability. The apparatus can also include a monitor configured to monitor for a registration request from a user equipment. The apparatus can further include a processor configured to process the registration request to identify whether the apparatus is a best home agent based on home agent ability and the registration request. The communicator can be configured to respond to the registration request when the apparatus is the best home agent. The apparatus can itself be a home agent.
