Abstract

This invention provides antibodies that specifically recognize and bind to UPK-Ib. Also included are diagnostic and therapeutic assays directed to diseases associated with unregulated levels of UPK-Ib using said antibodies. The antibodies and derivatives thereof can also be useful in the diagnisic and/or treatment of cancer associated with abnormal expression of UPK-Ib.
