Abstract
The invention aims at providing a low-cost coating composition which can inhibit the adsorption of biorelated substances and is excellent in water resistance and strength; and usage thereof. The coating composition is characterized by comprising (A) a polymer having repeating units represented by the general formula (1), (B) a crosslinking agent, and (C) a solvent: (1) wherein R0 is hydrogen or methyl; and X is a monovalent organic group derived from a sugar or a sugar derivative.
