Abstract

A receiver uses signals, which are constituted by a plurality of subcarriers on a frequency axis, to decode error correction codes. The receiver comprises a weight adding part that adds weights of low reliability to subcarrier signals affected by noise depending on the subcarrier frequencies; and an error correction decoding part that uses the subcarrier signals and the weights of low reliability added by the weight adding part to decode the error correction codes.
