Abstract

The Re-New a Skate cover serves as a stylish protective skate cover that help keeps skates in better condition longer from dirt and minor scuff marks. It's fashionable and versatile. Some covers are a stretchable material made with (80%) spandex and (20%) nylon material. It stretches to conform to the outer boot or shoe of the skate. One cover slips over the boot and conforms to the shape of the boot. The other cover fastens in the back with a Velcro strip. The cover comes in interchangeable colors that coordinate with a person's outfit. The assortment of colors and fluorescent covers will put a whole new twist on roller skating and ice skating. The versatility and sleek styling of this cover makes a fashion statement as well. This invention will bring a revitalized look to boot or tennis type skate and revolutionize the world and sport of skating. It will also give urban American youth and youth all over the world an opportunity to re-new the look of their skates for considerably less than the price of a new pair of skates.

THE BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
1. Field of the Invention
The present invention τelates to covers for the outer boot and shoe of skates. More particularly, the present invention relates to a variety of styles, designs, and colors for covers. The covers are made for roller skates and ice skates, but include all other types of skate.
2. Description of the Related Art
The Re-New a Skate cover serves as a stylish protective skate cover that help keeps skates in better condition longer from dirt and minor scuff marks. It's fashionable and versatile. Some covers are a stretchable material made with (80%) spandex and (20%) nylon material. It stretches to conform to the outer boot oτ shoe of the skate. One cover slips over the boot and conforms to the shape of the boot. The other cover fastens in the back with a Velcro strip. The cover comes in interchangeable colors that coordinate with a person's outfit. The assortment of colors and fluorescent covers will put a whole new twist on roller skating and ice skating. The versatility and sleek styling of this cover makes a fashion statement as well. This invention will bring a revitalized look to boot or

Claims

ClaimsWhat We claim is:
1. Any materials and/or stretchable fabrics to cover the outer boot or shoe of the roller skates, ice skates, in-line skates, etc. The said covering comprising: a fashionable, interchangeable cover made of a stretchable spandex and nylon material which covers the top portion of a boot oτ tennis shoe skate. It serves as a protection for skates from dirt and minor scuff marks and gives the worn skate a brand new appearance. The cover is in a variety of bright vibrant colors which include fluorescent making it more versatile and stylish to coordinate with clothing and any attire worn by today's youth. The fastening element varies on each design. The fastening elements are Velcro, buttons with elastic loops, and zippers to secure the cover to the outer boot of shoe or skate.
