Abstract

　ガラス基板積込装置（６）と前記保護シート積込装置（８）とにより、パレット（５）にガラス基板（４）と保護シート（７）とを交互に積層して梱包するガラス基板梱包システム（１）であって、ガラス基板（４）と保護シート（７）とを交互に積層する際に、保護シート積込装置（８）は、ガラス基板積込装置（６）によって先行して載置されたガラス基板（４）の上に、保護シート（７）をその周縁部のみを保持した状態で載置すると共に、この周縁部のみが保持された保護シート（７）の上に、ガラス基板積込装置（６）によって後続のガラス基板（４）が載置された段階で保護シート（７）の保持を解除するように構成されている。
