Abstract

Disclosed is a method for measuring a glycosylated hexapeptide derived from a glycosylated protein rapidly and with high accuracy through a simple manipulation. Also disclosed is a reagent for the measurement. A glycosylated hexapeptide derived from a glycosylated protein in a sample can be measured by reacting the sample containing the glycosylated hexapeptide with a glycosylated hexapeptide oxidase derived from a microorganism for 60 minutes or shorter and measuring a product of the reaction or a material consumed in the reaction. This method enables to measure a glycosylated hexapeptide derived from a glycosylated protein (e.g., glycosylated hemoglobin), which is separated from the glycosylated protein by the action of a protease or the like, simply and with high accuracy.
